How to Fix

BEFORE

AFTER

Outlet face plate after rotation - L-shaped prong correctly positioned

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

Ensure you have a screwdriver on hand, either a #2 Robertson or a large flat-head.

Step 2: Disconnect Power

Before beginning, disconnect the main power supply to the Coin Box to ensure a safe working environment.

Step 3: Remove Face Plate Screws

Locate the 4 screws securing the Face Plate of the outlet. Using your screwdriver, carefully remove these screws and set them aside.

Step 4: Rotate the Face Plate

Gently grasp the Face Plate and rotate it 180 degrees. You can turn it either clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on which direction is more convenient for you.

Step 5: Reattach the Face Plate

Align the holes of the rotated Face Plate with the screw holes on the outlet. Use the screws you set aside earlier to secure the Face Plate back in place.

✓ By following these steps, you should be able to successfully rotate the inside dryer plate, ensuring that the L-shaped prong is no longer at the bottom and matches the Whirlpool plug.
