Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Pay Box Timers (Pay Box Timers Inc) account and the personal data associated with it.

Guest accounts — delete from inside the app

If you use the Pay Box Timers Android app to pay for washers, dryers, showers, or charging, you can delete your account yourself at any time. It takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the Pay Box Timers app and sign in.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the payment screen and tap Delete Account, next to Sign Out.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

Before you delete: any remaining pre-paid balance is forfeited and cannot be restored, and any linked Tesla account is disconnected. This cannot be undone.

Owner accounts — contact us

Owner accounts have timers, tenants, and payout details attached, so we close them manually to make sure nothing is disrupted for the people using your machines.

  1. Send an email to info@limitedresources.us from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.”
  2. Include your account email and, if you have one, your Pay Box ID so we can verify ownership.
  3. You may also use our contact page to submit the same request.
  4. We verify the request and permanently delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days. Copies in encrypted backups are purged on our regular backup rotation (within 90 days).

Data that is deleted

  • Your account profile — full name, email address, and phone number
  • Your Pay Box ID associations and any saved pre-paid codes
  • Your timer, payment, and usage history linked to your account
  • Any linked Tesla account — the connection is revoked at Tesla and the stored credentials are erased

Data that may be kept, and for how long

Credit card numbers: We never store your full credit card number — card payments are handled by our processor, Stripe. There is nothing for us to delete on our servers.

Transaction records required by law: Records we must keep to meet financial, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations may be retained for the period required by applicable law, after which they are deleted. These records are unlinked from your identity when your account is deleted.

Anonymized washer cycle data (if you opted in): If you enabled the optional cycle-data contribution, that data was uploaded under a random anonymous identifier with no personal information and cannot be linked back to you, so it is not associated with your account.
